Lauren Crews
Lauren is an award-winning author and a public-school teacher. She holds an MDiv from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and has worked in women's ministry as a teacher and speaker for many years. Her book, Strength of a Woman: Why You Are Proverbs 31, looks at the Proverbs passage through the imagery of the Hebrew alphabet and won the Christian Market Book Award for 2020. Lauren is Mimi to two little boys. She lives in Jacksonville with her husband and two brown dogs who have their humans well trained.
Jamie Halstead
Jamie is originally from Indiana, but spent almost 20 years in ministry in Northeast Florida. She moved to Olathe, Kansas in 2019 and is now at Olathe Christian Church serving as their student minister and social media director. She is the wife of Paul Halstead and mother of seven and one daughter-in-love and a big black furry labradoodle named Drake.
Jamie leads a yearly women's conference in the Dominican Republic with PR22:6 Resource Ministry. She also works as the communication specialist with Mission Southside, a local mission organization in Kansas. Jamie is a photographer and has a passion for using this talent as an opportunity to reach people with Jesus. She adores sunflowers, craves sushi, misses the beach, but loves the snow, and would worship to Brandon Lake and Maverick City music everyday.
